Crochet hook size G for adult size or F for child size

Ch 20, sl st in the 20th ch from hook; ch 23, sl st in the 20th ch from hook (this will form two eye loops with a nose ch-3 between the eye loops)

Round 1: Ch 3 to count as the first dc, decrease over the 3 nose ch's between eye loops as follows: (yo, insert hook in next ch and pull up a loop, yo and pull through 2 loops on the hook) 3 times, yo and pull through all 4 remaining loops on hook; dc in the base of the next ch (where the loop is attached with a sl st), dc in each of the next 7 ch's, 2 dc in each of the next 10 ch's, dc in each of the next 2 ch's, dc in the next sl st, dc in the base of each of the next 3 nose ch's, dc in the next sl st, dc in each of the next 2 ch's, 2 dc in each of the next 10 ch's, dc in each of the next 7 ch's; join with a sl st to the top of the beginning ch 3. Round 2: Ch 3 to count as the first dc, dc in each remaining dc around; join with a sl st to the top of the beginning ch 3. (66 dc)

Round 3: (Ch 1, sl st in the next dc) 15 times, ch 60, sl st in the 2nd ch from hook and in each of the next 58 ch's, sl st in each of the next 38 dc, ch 60, sl st in the 2nd ch from hook and in each of the next 58 sl st's, (sl st in the next dc, ch 1) 13 times; join with a sl st in the first sl st. Fasten off.

Weave in ends.

To shape: Push "ruffling" along bottom of mask toward the center for the "nose".
